Can't believe it's only 89 days!!
Our current #89 is Bruce Figgins...my mind is blown that a guy like him is at best our third string tight end. The guy is 6-4, 260 with decent speed and hands and is a fantastic blocker...but he is buried behind Orson Charles and Aron White, and may have been passed by Arthur Lynch last season while sitting out a combination of injury and stupidity.
To celebrate, here are highlights of the only game in his career that he has notched a touchdown...the 2007 opener against Oklahoma State.
Bruce's TD catch comes at about the 1:20 mark of the second video...my favorite part of that play remains the fantastic blocking by MoMass and how pumped he is by it.
